Mozilla discontinued Fakespot in 2025; ReviewMeta stopped earlier. ReviewDetector is still running, still free, and still needs no account — which is why most people searching for a Fakespot alternative end up here.
How many reviews does a product need?
We can analyse small review sets, but at least 20 reviews are required for a full Trust Score and a letter grade. Listings with 5–19 reviews are published as "Not Enough Evidence", with the reviews and the underlying figures still shown. Below 5, we do not score at all.
Does the affiliate link change the score?
No. The commission is identical whatever grade we publish, including the grades that tell you not to buy. Reports graded D and E carry the same link as reports graded A.
