Question 1

What condition should I expect with “Renewed”? Will the iPad look brand new?

Accepted Answer

“Renewed” means the device has been inspected, tested, and cleaned, but it’s not factory-new. Many TikTok reviewers show units that look nearly flawless, though some users report light scratches on the screen or back. Generally, expect minor cosmetic wear. If you need pristine condition, look for “Certified Refurbished” directly from Apple.

Question 2

How long does the battery actually last on a renewed iPad 2021?

Accepted Answer

Most buyers report 8–10 hours of mixed use (web browsing, video, note-taking) on a full charge. However, Reddit threads mention that some units arrive with batteries at 85–90% capacity rather than 100%. If battery life is critical, contact the seller before purchase to confirm their minimum battery health threshold.

Question 3

Does this iPad come with a charger, cable, and original box?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the seller. Many renewed listings include a generic charger and cable, but not the original box. Some budget listings ship only the iPad itself. Always check the product description’s “What’s in the box” section. If missing accessories would be a dealbreaker, confirm with the seller before ordering.

Question 4

Can I use the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard with this model?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it supports the 1st-generation Apple Pencil and the Smart Keyboard (the one with the Lightning connector, not the Magic Keyboard). It does not work with the 2nd-gen Pencil or the newer Magic Keyboard Folio. A common regret signal on YouTube: buyers accidentally order the wrong Pencil, so double-check your pencil model before purchase.

Question 5

What’s the return policy if I receive a defective or scratched unit?

Accepted Answer

Most major sellers on Amazon offer a 90-day return window for renewed electronics. If you receive a device with cracks, dead pixels, or battery issues, you can usually request a replacement or refund. However, minor scratches that were disclosed in the product description may not qualify. Read the seller’s specific return policy—some have faster, more reliable support than others.
