Question 1

I have sensitive skin and am new to Vitamin C. Is this serum a good place to start?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. This is one of the most frequently praised aspects on social media. The formula is specifically designed to be gentle and non-irritating, using a stable Vitamin C derivative (3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid) combined with soothing Centella Asiatica. Many Reddit users in skincare forums recommend it as a perfect "beginner-friendly" Vitamin C serum.

Question 2

How long does it typically take to see visible results, particularly for dark spots?

Accepted Answer

Patience is key. While some users report a healthy "glow" within a week or two, consistent reviews suggest noticeable brightening and fading of post-acne marks or sun spots takes 4 to 8 weeks of daily use. It works gradually to improve skin clarity and evenness, so it's not an overnight spot-eraser. Managing expectations is important for satisfaction.

Question 3

I’ve heard some serums pill under moisturizer or sunscreen. Does this one?

Accepted Answer

It can, depending on what you layer it with. This is a common mention in video reviews. The serum has a hydrating, slightly gel-like texture. To avoid pilling, apply it to slightly damp skin, let it absorb fully for 60 seconds, and follow with lighter, water-based products. Pilling is most often reported with thick, silicone-heavy sunscreens or moisturizers.

Question 4

The bottle isn’t clear and doesn’t have a pump. How stable is the Vitamin C, and how do I know how much is left?

Accepted Answer

This is a valid concern we've seen discussed. The formula uses a very stable Vitamin C derivative and includes antioxidants to combat oxidation. The opaque bottle protects it from light degradation. While you can't see the product level, the 30ml bottle typically lasts 2-3 months with daily use. To ensure freshness, store it in a cool, dark place (not a humid bathroom).

Question 5

My skin is quite oily/acne-prone. Will this serum work for me, or is it better for dry skin?

Accepted Answer

It's popular for its hydrating properties, which can be a pro or con. Many with combination or dry skin love the added moisture. However, some users with very oily or acne-prone skin have found it too rich and prefer a more mattifying alternative. If your skin is easily clogged, you might consider patch-testing first. For oilier types, a lighter alternative like the Goodal Green Tangerine Vita C Serum is often suggested in K-beauty communities.
