Question 1

Does the grind stay consistent for different brewing methods, like French press or pour-over?

Accepted Answer

The LAMIDO grinder performs best at fine to medium-fine settings—great for espresso or Aeropress. However, many users on Reddit and TikTok report that coarser settings for French press or pour-over can produce some fines alongside larger particles. If you mainly brew with finer methods, you’ll likely be satisfied; for coarse grinds, you might want to shake and sift first.

Question 2

The battery says 2000 mAh—how many cups does it actually grind per charge?

Accepted Answer

Real-world feedback suggests about 10–14 cups on a full charge, which is lower than the marketing claim of 20+. The battery works well for weekend camping or daily use at home, but if you’re planning extended travel without recharging, keep a power bank handy—it can charge via USB while you grind, though some users note the motor warms up during simultaneous use.

Question 3

Is the build quality durable for regular travel, or does it feel cheap?

Accepted Answer

The matte black finish and compact design look premium in person, and most owners find it holds up well in a backpack or suitcase. That said, the bean hopper and some internal components are plastic, which a few users on TikTok flagged as feeling less robust than expected. For occasional travel and daily home use, it’s solid; if you’re a heavy-duty camper or want an heirloom grinder, you might consider a more metal-intensive option.

Question 4

Can I clean the burrs easily, and are replacement parts available?

Accepted Answer

Yes—the top burr is removable with a simple twist, and the chamber can be brushed out without tools. Some owners recommend using a small brush or compressed air for stubborn grounds. LAMIDO offers replacement burrs and parts through their website, and customer service response times are generally reported as reasonable, though a few users mentioned delays during peak seasons.

Question 5

Who is this grinder best for, and who might want to look elsewhere?

Accepted Answer

The LAMIDO is an excellent pick for travelers, campers, and apartment dwellers who want a fast, electric burr grinder without breaking the bank. It’s especially good if you enjoy espresso, moka pot, or Aeropress. However, serious pour-over enthusiasts seeking precise, consistent coarse grinds or anyone needing a whisper-quiet morning routine may find better alternatives in manual grinders like the 1Zpresso JX or electric options like the Fellow Opus.
