Question 1

Is the paper true, thick cardstock or more like construction paper?

Accepted Answer

Based on widespread feedback from crafters and teachers, the material is best described as a sturdy construction paper rather than a heavy-duty cardstock. It's perfectly bendable for kids and ideal for gluing onto posters, but if you need a rigid, stand-alone figure, you may want to look for a product specifically labeled as "heavyweight" or "chipboard."

Question 2

Are the cutouts consistently 3.5 inches tall and are all 108 pieces included?

Accepted Answer

While the product is designed to be 3.5 inches, some users have reported slight size variations in their packs. We recommend these for projects where an approximate size is acceptable. Each pack should contain 108 pieces, but as noted in some reviews, it's a good practice to count them upon arrival. If you're short, please contact customer support for assistance.

Question 3

I'm using these for a multicultural school project. How diverse are the skin tones and shapes?

Accepted Answer

This is one of the most praised features! The pack includes a good variety of skin tones, making it excellent for inclusive crafts and bulletin boards. However, as several educators have mentioned, the person shapes themselves are uniform in silhouette (same hair and clothing outline). They serve as a fantastic "blank canvas" for adding your own cultural details with markers, fabric, or yarn.

Question 4

What's the best way to prevent markers from bleeding through the paper?

Accepted Answer

A great tip from many TikTok and YouTube craft tutorials is to place a sheet of scrap paper underneath your cutout while coloring. Using washable crayons or colored pencils can also eliminate bleed-through. If you're using liquid glue, a thin layer applied with a brush will prevent warping better than a heavy glue stick.

Question 5

Who is this product best suited for, and who might want to look for an alternative?

Accepted Answer

These cutouts are a fantastic value for teachers, parents, and group leaders needing a large quantity of basic people shapes for lightweight crafts, classroom decorations, or activity stations. If you require extremely durable, perfectly uniform, or pre-decorated figures for a professional display or repeated handling, you may prefer investing in a premium cardstock or die-cut set.
