Question 1

Will this make me feel drowsy or sleepy during the day?

Accepted Answer

For most users, no. The combination is praised for promoting a sense of "calm focus" rather than sedation. Many Reddit users specifically take it with their morning coffee to reduce jitters and improve concentration. However, as with any supplement, individual responses vary. We recommend starting with one capsule to assess your own reaction, especially if you need to be alert.

Question 2

What's the benefit of the L-Theanine and Inositol combination versus just L-Theanine?

Accepted Answer

Inositol is another compound studied for its calming properties. The combination, as noted in many user reviews, is often described as providing a more well-rounded sense of relaxation that can help with both occasional stress and quieting a racing mind at bedtime. Think of L-Theanine for focused calm and Inositol adding support for mood and repetitive thoughts.

Question 3

How should I take this, and how long until I feel it working?

Accepted Answer

The standard dose is one veg capsule, 1-2 times daily with food. Effects are typically felt within 30-60 minutes. For sleep, take it 30-60 minutes before bed. For daytime stress or to pair with caffeine, take it with your morning coffee or lunch. Consistency is key; some users report the best effects after taking it regularly for several days.

Question 4

Is this product safe to take with my other supplements or medications?

Accepted Answer

While L-Theanine and Inositol are generally well-tolerated, we always recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, taking prescription medications (like anti-anxiety or antidepressant drugs), or have a known medical condition. This ensures there are no potential interactions with your personal health regimen.

Question 5

I've read some people don't feel anything. What's your return policy if it doesn't work for me?

Accepted Answer

NOW Foods stands behind the quality of their products. If you are not fully satisfied, we recommend reviewing the specific return policy of the retailer you purchased from, as they manage fulfillment and returns. Most reputable sellers offer a satisfaction guarantee. A small percentage of people may be "non-responders" to this form of L-Theanine, which is a common experience across all supplement brands.
