Question 1

Is it quiet enough to run in a bedroom overnight?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. This is one of its most praised features. Based on numerous customer reviews and social media comments from light sleepers, its operation is consistently described as a very low, unobtrusive hum. Many users on platforms like TikTok specifically highlight running it in their bedroom or nursery without any disturbance.

Question 2

How often will I need to empty the 870ml water tank?

Accepted Answer

It depends entirely on the humidity level and room temperature. In a typically damp UK bathroom, you might need to empty it every 1-2 days. In a cooler, less humid bedroom, it could last 3-4 days. The 870ml/day rating is for ideal conditions (30°C, 80% humidity), so real-world collection is often less, which many Reddit users have noted is important to understand for managing expectations.

Question 3

Will it work effectively in a cold space like a garage or unheated utility room?

Accepted Answer

It features thermal detection and intelligent defrosting to handle cooler environments, but its efficiency decreases as temperatures drop. For spaces consistently below 10°C (50°F), some users report the defrost cycle activates frequently, reducing active dehumidification time. It's best suited for conditioned indoor spaces like bathrooms, bedrooms, and wardrobes. For very cold areas, a desiccant dehumidifier is often recommended as a more effective alternative.

Question 4

What is the build quality like, and what is the warranty?

Accepted Answer

The dehumidifier is designed as a compact, functional appliance. Most users find it sturdy for its size and purpose, though a small number have mentioned the plastic casing can feel lightweight. It comes with a standard 1-year manufacturer's warranty. For peace of mind, we recommend registering your product and keeping your proof of purchase. Question 5

Who is this dehumidifier NOT suitable for?

Accepted Answer

This model is ideal for targeted moisture control in small to medium rooms (up to ~20m²). It is likely not the best choice if you need to dehumidify a large open-plan living area, an entire basement, or a very large studio flat. For those scenarios, a larger, more powerful compressor model would be more effective. It's perfect for tackling damp in bathrooms, preventing mould in wardrobes, drying laundry in a spare room, or managing moisture in a bedroom or caravan.
