Question 1

How fast does this ice maker produce ice?

Accepted Answer

The manufacturer states each 5-6 minute cycle produces 9 ice cubes, and one reviewer reported having ice cubes in less than 5 minutes, while another said each round takes about 8-9 minutes.

Question 2

Does this ice maker store or keep the ice frozen?

Accepted Answer

No. The listing states it is designed to produce ice, not store it, and does not keep ice frozen once made, so you should transfer ice to your freezer promptly to prevent melting.

Question 3

How much ice can it produce per day?

The listing states a total capacity of 26 lbs in 24 hours, and reviewers confirm it delivers the 26 lbs of ice per day, which one noted is enough for daily use, guests, or a small gathering of 5-7 people.

Question 4

Is it easy to use and clean?

Accepted Answer

Reviewers describe it as easy to use and easy to clean, and the listing notes the drain plug makes it easy to empty the ice maker during cleanup.

Question 5

What happens when the water runs out or the power goes out?

Accepted Answer

The listing says indicators alert you when the basket is full and when the unit is low on water; one reviewer noted that after a power outage it defaults to fully off, and after adding water you must turn it off and back on and reselect the cube size to restart it.
