Question 1

Does this odor absorber add any scent of its own?

Accepted Answer

The listing describes the bags as fragrance-free and unscented, and one reviewer specifically noted there is no scent emanating from them. However, another reviewer reported receiving a lavender-scented product despite the no-fragrance description.

Question 2

Where can I use these charcoal odor absorber bags?

Accepted Answer

The listing says they can be placed in closets, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, kitty litter areas, refrigerators, cars, shoes, gym bags, travel suitcases, cabinets, wardrobes, and near trash cans. Reviewers mention using them in cars, offices, closets, litter boxes, purses, and apartments.

Question 3

Do these actually remove odors, or just cover them up?

Accepted Answer

The listing states the bamboo charcoal adsorbs, locks in, and removes odors rather than masking them with additives. Reviewers report success with cigarette smoke, litter box smells, cooking odors, and general musty smells, though some found the effect weak or ineffective.

Question 4

How many bags will I need for a room?

Accepted Answer

Reviewers note the bags are small and that size matters — one used two to three bags in a litter room, and another suggested choosing a larger size for bigger areas. The listing offers 3, 8, and 16 pack options.

Question 5

Do these bags have hooks so I can hang them?

Accepted Answer

One reviewer said the hooks are handy for suspending the bags rather than setting them on the floor, and used them around litter boxes. The listing also mentions hanging them in the bathroom.
