Question 1

How effective are these traps, and why do some reviews say they didn't catch anything?

Accepted Answer

Effectiveness varies based on the severity of your infestation and placement. Many users on platforms like Reddit report successful catches for monitoring or light problems. However, these are passive, non-baited glue traps. If silverfish aren't actively traveling across the precise spot you place them, they won't be caught. They are excellent for detection and light control but may not be sufficient for a heavy, widespread infestation on their own.

Question 2

Are these traps safe to use around my family and pets?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. This is one of the most praised features in reviews. The traps contain no pesticides, poisons, or harsh chemicals—they use a strong, non-toxic adhesive. They are a safe, eco-friendly choice for homes with children, pets, or anyone wanting to avoid chemical pest control.

Question 3

How many traps do I need, and where should I place them?

Accepted Answer

The pack contains 2 traps. For monitoring (e.g., one bathroom), this may be sufficient. For whole-room or basement coverage, multiple packs are often needed. Based on user tips, place them in warm, humid, dark areas where silverfish thrive: along bathroom/baseboard edges, under sinks, in kitchen cabinet corners, and in basement storage areas. Ensure they lie flat against walls.

Question 4

What's your return policy if the traps don't work for me?

Accepted Answer

We stand by our products. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact our customer support team within the return window (typically 30 days from delivery) for a full refund or replacement. We appreciate the honest feedback seen in reviews and want to ensure every customer has a positive experience.

Question 5

I have a serious infestation. Are these the right solution, or is there a better alternative?

Accepted Answer

For a serious, active infestation, these adhesive traps are best used as part of a broader strategy. They are great for monitoring population and catching stragglers. However, as noted in many detailed reviews, users with major problems often combine them with more aggressive measures like reducing humidity, sealing cracks, and using insecticidal dusts (e.g., diatomaceous earth) or bait gels for targeted elimination.
