Question 1

Will the Apple Watch SE (2nd Gen) work with my Android phone?

Accepted Answer

No—this watch is designed exclusively for iPhone (iPhone XS or later, with the latest iOS). If you're on Android, you'll want to look at a Fitbit or Garmin instead. Many Reddit users flag this as the #1 thing to check before buying, since the SE can't even be set up without an iPhone.

Question 2

How long does the battery really last, especially with sleep tracking?

Accepted Answer

Apple rates it at up to 18 hours, and that's realistic for a normal day of notifications, workouts, and heart-rate monitoring. Add overnight sleep tracking, though, and you'll likely need a top-up charge before bed or in the morning. As one YouTube reviewer put it, "It's a charge-every-night watch, not a charge-every-other-night one." A quick 30-minute charge gets you back to roughly 80%.

Question 3

Is the 44mm size comfortable for smaller wrists, and can I wear it to sleep?

Accepted Answer

Most users—including many with petite wrists—find the 44mm SE surprisingly light and easy to forget about, thanks to the aluminum case and soft Sport Band. The M/L band fits wrists roughly 150–200mm; if you're on the smaller end, consider the S/M band size instead. TikTok reviewers frequently mention wearing it overnight with zero irritation, though a few larger-wristed users wish Apple offered a bigger option.

Question 4

What's the difference between this and the Series 9/10—is it worth paying more?

Accepted Answer

The SE (2nd Gen) covers the essentials: heart-rate tracking, sleep stages, crash and fall detection, and a bright Retina display. What you give up versus pricier models is the always-on display, ECG, blood-oxygen sensing, and faster charging. If you want a lightweight everyday tracker and don't need those extras, the SE is excellent value—but if you're a data-driven athlete or want the latest sensors, several users say they wished they'd gone straight to the Series 9.

Question 5

What's the return policy, and does it come with a charger?

Accepted Answer

The box includes a magnetic charging cable but no power adapter, so you'll need a USB-C wall brick (or any USB-C port) to charge it—a common surprise in unboxing videos. Return windows vary by retailer, but most major platforms offer 14–30 days for a full refund if the fit or features aren't right; just keep the packaging and band in good condition. If you're unsure about band size, ordering directly from Apple gives you the most flexible exchange options.
