Question 1

I already have whitening trays from my dentist or another brand. Is this gel compatible?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Auraglow gel is designed to work with any custom-fitted or standard "boil-and-bite" trays. The key is ensuring your trays fit well to prevent the gel from touching your gums, which can cause irritation. Many Reddit users successfully use this gel as a refill for their existing dentist-provided trays.

Question 2

Is 35% carbamide peroxide too strong for sensitive teeth?

Accepted Answer

While 35% is a professional-grade strength, most reviewers are pleasantly surprised by the low sensitivity. The formula is designed for sensitive teeth. The secret is using a *very small amount* (a rice-grain-sized drop per tooth) and not overfilling your trays. If you're concerned, you can start with shorter sessions (30 mins instead of 1 hour) or use the gel every other day.

Question 3

How many uses can I really get from one syringe?

Accepted Answer

Each 5mL syringe provides about 10 whitening sessions per arch (upper or lower teeth) if you use the recommended pea-sized amount for the entire tray. The 3-syringe pack genuinely offers around 30 treatments. A common tip from YouTube reviewers is to store syringes upright to prevent the gel from separating and ensure you get every last drop.

Question 4

What's your return policy if the gel doesn't work for me or causes irritation?

Accepted Answer

Auraglow offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy with your results, you can contact their customer service for a refund. We recommend taking "before" photos when you start. Some users on social media suggest reaching out directly via email for the fastest resolution if you encounter any issues with the product itself.

Question 5

How does this compare to other professional-grade brands like Opalescence?

Accepted Answer

Auraglow is a highly-rated, direct-to-consumer alternative to dentist-distributed brands. The main differences are in gel consistency and flavor. Opalescence often has a thicker, mint-flavored "PF" formula. Auraglow users praise its effectiveness and value, noting it delivers similar results for less money. The choice often comes down to personal preference for gel texture and sensitivity response.
