Question 1

How painful is Bazuka Sub-Zero, really?

Accepted Answer

Most users describe the sensation as a sharp, intense cold sting that lasts for a minute or two during application. It's significantly more noticeable than topical acid treatments. The consensus on social media is to expect discomfort, especially for larger warts, but many find the short-term pain worth the long-term result.

Question 2

Is one application enough to remove a wart?

Accepted Answer

Typically, no. Based on thousands of customer reviews, successful removal usually requires patience and 3 to 5 applications, spaced about two weeks apart. It's designed to freeze and destroy the wart tissue gradually. Setting the expectation for a multi-week process is key to satisfaction.

Question 3

Can I use this on my child or on verrucas on the foot?

Accepted Answer

The product is suitable for adults and children over 4 years old, but parental discretion is advised due to the stinging sensation. For common foot verrucas, it can be effective, but users report that deep, stubborn plantar warts may require more applications or professional treatment. It is NOT for use on the face, genital areas, or mucous membranes.

Question 4

What's the main difference between Sub-Zero and the original Bazuka Gel?

Accepted Answer

Sub-Zero uses a targeted "freeze" technology (cryotherapy), similar to a clinic treatment, aiming to destroy the wart from the inside. The original Bazuka Gel uses a salicylic acid formula to soften and peel away the wart layers. Freeze treatments often work faster but can be more uncomfortable; acid treatments are gentler but require longer, daily use.

Question 5

The packaging says it may vary. Is the formula inside the same?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the clinical formula is identical. The "packaging may vary" note simply refers to occasional updates in box design or promotional labeling. You are receiving the same trusted, medically-proven freezing device.
