Question 1

Do these dish cloths shrink when you wash them, and what will the final size be?

Accepted Answer

Yes, like most 100% cotton products, they will experience some shrinkage after the first wash. Based on numerous customer reports, you can expect them to shrink by about 1-2 inches in each dimension, resulting in a finished size of approximately 10"x10" to 11"x11". We recommend washing them before first use for the most accurate fit.

Question 2

I hate towels that leave lint everywhere. Are these lint-free?

Accepted Answer

While highly rated for softness and absorbency, it's a common observation from users on platforms like TikTok that these cloths can shed some lint during the initial washes. This is typical for plush, high-GSM cotton. For a lint-free experience, we recommend washing them once or twice separately before using them with your dishes or glassware.

Question 3

How durable are they, especially if I need to use bleach to sanitize them?

Accepted Answer

These 100% cotton cloths are quite durable for everyday use. However, consistent with many cotton textiles, frequent use of chlorine bleach can break down the fibers more quickly over time, leading to reduced longevity. For regular sanitization, many customers recommend using oxygen-based bleach (like OxiClean) or vinegar solutions, which are effective and gentler on the fabric.

Question 4

What makes these a good alternative to paper towels or microfiber cloths?

Accepted Answer

Our 405 GSM cotton cloths are designed to be a reusable, eco-friendly powerhouse. Unlike paper towels, they are highly absorbent, washable, and cost-effective over time. Compared to microfiber (which is synthetic and can smear grease), these pure cotton towels are more absorbent for liquids, softer to the touch, and don't require special washing to avoid microplastic shedding. They excel at drying dishes, wiping counters, and handling common kitchen spills.

Question 5

Who are these dish cloths best suited for?

Accepted Answer

These cloths are a fantastic fit for eco-conscious homes looking to reduce paper towel use, parents dealing with frequent spills, and anyone who values a soft, highly absorbent towel for daily kitchen tasks. They may not be the ideal choice for users who require heavy-duty, bleach-based sanitization after every use or those who prefer a thin, abrasive texture for scrubbing. For most households, the 8-pack offers great value and performance.
