Question 1

Can this cable actually reach the 40Gbps and 2000MHz speeds advertised?

Accepted Answer

The listing rates it at 40Gbps and 2000MHz, but states that actual speed depends on your router, switch, network card and other hardware. One customer reports it "works well at 2.5gbs," and another describes it as "Long and very stable."

Question 2

How durable is the cable and its connectors?

Accepted Answer

The listing describes a braided jacket that is wear-, UV- and waterproof with gold-plated RJ45 connectors that resist oxidation. Reviewers call it "well made," "nice and tough" and "brilliant quality"; one noted the long-term strength of the locking tabs is unproven on slim cables.

Question 3

What is included with the 30M cable and what is the length suited to?

Accepted Answer

It is a 30-metre cable intended for whole-home networking, such as router to upstairs office or living room to bedroom, and it comes with 30 cable wall clips for organized installation.

Question 4

Will it work with my PS5, Xbox, router, modem or switch?

Accepted Answer

The listing states it is compatible with any RJ45 device, including PS5, Xbox, gaming PC, laptops, routers, modems, switches, Smart TVs and printers, and is backward compatible with Cat7, Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5. A customer confirmed it "works great with the managed switch and nas" on their network.

Question 5

Is the flat design easy to route through a home or office?

Accepted Answer

The listing says the flexible flat cable runs under carpets, along walls, through door gaps or behind furniture. A reviewer agrees it is easy to route, noting the slim profile fits standard Ethernet sockets and space-limited setups.
