Question 1

Are these wipes safe and gentle for children and sensitive skin?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. They are dermatologically tested and a favourite among parents and users with conditions like eczema. While they're very gentle, a small number of people with extremely dry skin recommend following up with moisturiser after frequent use. They are perfect for keeping in lunchboxes or backpacks for kids.

Question 2

How portable are they really, and are they airline-friendly?

Accepted Answer

Their portability is their standout feature, as highlighted in countless travel vlogs and reviews. Each wipe is in a flat, foil sachet, making them TSA-compliant as they contain no free liquids. They fit perfectly in wallets, passport holders, and car glove compartments without leaking.

Question 3

I'm torn between these and hand sanitiser gel. What's the main advantage?

Accepted Answer

The key advantage is physical removal of dirt and grime, not just sanitising. As many TikTok users have shown, these wipes clean visibly dirty hands and can also be used to quickly wipe down surfaces like phone screens or trolley handles—something a gel can't do. They also don't leave a sticky or greasy residue.

Question 4

Do they leave your hands feeling dry or sticky?

Accepted Answer

Most users find they leave hands feeling clean without significant residue. However, it's a common observation that with very frequent use (multiple times a day), they can have a drying effect, which is typical for antimicrobial formulas. Keeping a travel moisturiser handy is a popular pro-tip among frequent flyers and healthcare workers.

Question 5

What's the shelf life, and are they effective against viruses like COVID-19?

Accepted Answer

The wipes typically have a long shelf life of around 2-3 years (check the date on your specific box). They are tested to kill 99.99% of bacteria and are proven effective against enveloped viruses like COVID-19 and Influenza. For the latest specific pathogen claims, we recommend checking the manufacturer's (GAMA Healthcare) website.
