Question 1

How durable and reliable is this cleaner for frequent, weekly use?

Accepted Answer

Based on user feedback, experiences vary. While many are thrilled with its initial cleaning power, a significant number of reports on forums like Reddit indicate the unit may develop issues—such as leaking tanks or complete failure—after several months of regular, heavy use. If you need it for daily business operations, you might want to consider a commercial-grade model. For occasional hobbyist use, it often performs very well.

Question 2

I've seen comments about leaking. Is this a common issue?

Accepted Answer

Yes, leaking from the stainless steel tank seams or the lid seal is one of the most frequent complaints in online reviews. It doesn't affect every unit, but it's a noted potential flaw. To be safe, we recommend always testing the cleaner on a waterproof surface or tray for the first few uses and inspecting the tank for any moisture after each cycle.

Question 3

What's the real-world difference between the Normal, Degas, and Gentle modes?

Accepted Answer

Great question! The Normal mode is your standard, powerful ultrasonic clean. The Gentle mode uses lower intensity, perfect for delicate items like antique jewelry or certain plastics. The Degas function is designed to remove dissolved gases from your cleaning solution (usually water with a cleaner added) before the main cycle, which can improve efficiency. As some YouTube tutorials have shown, it's subtle—you might see tiny bubbles rise—and isn't necessary for every cleaning job.

Question 4

Is the customer support responsive if I have a problem?

Accepted Answer

User experiences with customer support are mixed. Some have had positive resolutions, while others report slow responses or difficulties with the warranty process. We strongly advise purchasing from a reputable retailer (like Amazon) with a solid return policy. This gives you a direct and reliable channel for support within the return window if you receive a defective unit or encounter early problems.

Question 5

Who is this cleaner best suited for, and who might want to look elsewhere?

Accepted Answer

This cleaner is an excellent fit for hobbyists, homeowners, and DIY enthusiasts who need a powerful, feature-rich cleaner for occasional tasks like jewelry, glasses, tools, or model parts. However, if you're a small business owner, technician, or someone who plans to use it heavily multiple times a week, the reported durability concerns suggest you may be better served by investing in a more robust, commercial-focused brand for long-term reliability.
