Question 1

Is this cable overkill for my setup, or is it worth the investment?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your gear! This cable is engineered to unlock the full potential of modern consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X) and high-end TVs, specifically for features like 4K at 120Hz, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and uncompressed Dolby Atmos via eARC. If you're using these features, it's an excellent investment. For a standard 4K Blu-ray player or a 60Hz TV, a certified high-speed HDMI cable may be more cost-effective.

Question 2

I've heard the connectors are very tight. Will I risk damaging my TV or console's HDMI port?

Accepted Answer

The connectors are indeed snug to ensure a secure, high-bandwidth connection—a common trait in well-shielded cables. While it requires a firm push, it shouldn't damage a standard port. A helpful tip from several Reddit users: plug and unplug the cable a few times *before* installing it behind your setup; this can slightly loosen the initial fit without compromising performance.

Question 3

Does it support ALL the next-gen gaming features like ALLM and VRR for the PS5 and Xbox Series X?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. With its full 48Gbps bandwidth and HDMI 2.1 certification, this cable is designed to support all advanced gaming features including Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and High Frame Rate (HFR) at resolutions up to 4K@120Hz and even 8K. Many users report it completely eliminated screen blackouts during gameplay.

Question 4

The cable looks thick and sturdy. Is it flexible enough to route neatly behind my media console?

Accepted Answer

This is a common observation. The cable has a premium, double-braided nylon jacket that is very durable but also quite firm. While it's not as flexible as a thin, rubber-coated cable, it can be bent and routed with careful planning. If your setup requires very sharp bends or tight spaces, you might want to measure the clearance first. The build quality, however, ensures excellent signal integrity and longevity.

Question 5

I need a longer run than 1.5 meters. Does deleyCON offer a longer version of this cable?

Accepted Answer

Currently, this specific 48Gbps model is offered in the 1.5m length, which is ideal for most direct connections between a wall-mounted TV and a media console below. For longer runs (3m+), passive copper cables like this can struggle to maintain the full bandwidth. For those situations, users in home theater forums often recommend looking into an active or fiber HDMI cable specifically designed for longer distances while preserving 4K@120Hz/8K signals.
