Question 1

What exactly is included in the "5-in-1" kit? Is it five separate pairs of scissors?

Accepted Answer

Great question! The "5-in-1" refers to one high-quality stainless steel scissor body that works with four interchangeable plastic guide combs (3mm, 6mm, 9mm, and 12mm). This allows you to achieve five different cutting lengths (including the scissor alone). It's a compact system for versatile trimming, not five individual scissors.

Question 2

Are these scissors suitable for a complete dog haircut, or just for touch-ups?

Accepted Answer

Based on social media feedback from Husky and Poodle owners, these are best for maintenance, touch-ups, and detail work. They excel at trimming faces, paws, tails, and sanitary areas, or for blending between clipper cuts. For a full-body haircut on a medium or large dog, most users recommend a powerful clipper as your primary tool, with these scissors for finishing.

Question 3

How safe are they for a wiggly dog? I'm a nervous beginner.

Accepted Answer

The rounded safety tips are a standout feature that beginners on TikTok and Reddit love. They significantly reduce the risk of accidental nicks or pokes, providing excellent peace of mind. However, the tips can bend if dropped, so careful handling is still key. Many users find them perfect for grooming anxious pets.

Question 4

How long do the blades stay sharp, and can they be sharpened?

Accepted Answer

The blades are very sharp initially for a clean cut. Their longevity depends on use; frequent grooming of thick coats may require sharpening sooner. They are made of hardened stainless steel and can be professionally sharpened. Several reviewers mention getting a sharpening stone to maintain the edge themselves for optimal long-term performance.

Question 5

What is your return policy if the product doesn't work for my dog?

Accepted Answer

We want you and your pet to be happy. Our standard return window is 30 days from delivery for unused or defective items. If the scissors aren't the right fit for your grooming needs, please contact our customer support team via your order page, and we'll be glad to help you with a return or exchange.
