Question 1

Is the Eastar EUP-100 truly a weighted 88-key keyboard, and is it suitable for absolute beginners?

Accepted Answer

Yes—the EUP-100 features 88 full-size keys with weighted action designed for beginners. It’s approachable for new players, though it isn’t a high-end hammer-action piano.

Question 2

What’s included in the purchase, and do I get a stand or bench?

Accepted Answer

The box typically includes the keyboard, a cover, headphones, music stickers, a three-pedal unit, and MIDI/recording capabilities. A stand or bench is not usually included, so you’ll need to provide those separately.

Question 3

Can I connect to a computer or phone via Bluetooth or USB MIDI, and is there latency?

Accepted Answer

It supports MIDI and wireless connection. Many users report easy Bluetooth pairing, but some experience occasional drops or latency. For consistent performance, a wired USB MIDI connection is recommended.

Question 4

Is it okay for kids or complete beginners, and is it quiet to practice with headphones?

Accepted Answer

It’s beginner-friendly and includes a headphone jack for quiet practice, which is great for homes with others or late-night sessions.

Question 5

How durable is the build and the pedals? Will it hold up with regular practice?

Accepted Answer

The unit is budget-friendly and generally solid for beginners, but some users note a plasticky feel and occasional pedal inconsistencies. Treat it as a learning instrument with moderate durability.
