Question 1

How far can the outlet extender reach, and can it be adjusted?

Accepted Answer

The manufacturer states it extends from 22 to 27 inches and has a 180-degree rotating base for vertical, horizontal, or in-between positioning. One reviewer said they were able to extend it to about 27 inches, and others described it as adjustable.

Question 2

Will it stay attached to the wall, or does it fall off?

Accepted Answer

The listing says it uses hook and loop (Velcro) straps for damage-free wall attachment, and one reviewer said the Velcro on the back keeps it from moving. However, another reviewer reported the head was too heavy for the double-sided tape and it fell off the wall, and a third said the sticky tape took paint off.

Question 3

What can I plug into it?

Accepted Answer

The listing says it has dual AC outlets plus USB-A and USB-C ports with 5V/2.4A smart output, and can charge phones, tablets, laptops, and appliances simultaneously. Reviewers mention being able to plug in many things and using it for nightstand setups.

Question 4

Does it need to be installed or wired in?

Accepted Answer

No. The listing states no installation is needed—you simply plug it into an existing electrical socket with no tools or complicated wiring. One reviewer noted it didn't come with an instruction manual but the usage was self-explanatory.

Question 5

Will it work with my outlet if the ground plug is facing down?

Accepted Answer

The listing warns that the extender is designed for a base with the ground plug up, and advises against buying it if your ground plug is down (unless your base is in a very high position), so you should check the direction of your ground plug before buying.
