Question 1

Does the Vanilla Cashmere scent actually last all day, or does it fade quickly?

Accepted Answer

Many users love the warm vanilla cashmere scent right after applying, but it tends to fade within 2–4 hours. As several TikTok reviewers noted, this isn’t a long-lasting perfume lotion—more of a gentle, cozy scent that lingers subtly. If you’re after a strong, all-day fragrance, you might want to try a dedicated body mist or a heavier scented cream.

Question 2

The pump on my bottle stopped working halfway through. Is this a common issue?

Accepted Answer

You’re not alone—some customers have reported pump problems, including breakage or difficulty reaching the bottom of the bottle. A quick fix is to unscrew the pump and either pour the remainder into a travel container or tilt the bottle to keep the tube submerged. If it arrives damaged, most retailers accept returns; check the store’s policy or contact eos directly.

Question 3

Is this lotion truly 24-hour hydration for dry skin, or is that marketing hype?

Accepted Answer

The 24-hour claim works best for normal-to-slightly-dry skin types. Many Reddit users with very dry elbows, knees, or eczema have found it wears off in under 8 hours. For intense moisture, layer it on damp skin or consider a richer cream like Nivea Essentially Enriched. If you have normal skin, the lightweight, non-greasy formula usually keeps you comfortable all day.

Question 4

Can I return the lotion if the scent or texture doesn’t work for me?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely—most major retailers (Target, Walmart, Ulta) accept returns on opened beauty products within 30 days. Keep your receipt or online order confirmation handy. For issues like a defective pump or a batch that feels watery vs. creamy, eos also has a customer support team that often sends a replacement.

Question 5

How does this compare to other eos Shea Better scents or similar drugstore lotions?

Accepted Answer

The Vanilla Cashmere is one of the mildest, most universally liked scents in the Shea Better line—less floral than Lavender and less sweet than Coconut. If you’re comparing to brands like Dove or Tree Hut, note that eos is lighter and less greasy, making it better for quick absorption. However, users often say Dove’s body love lasts longer on dry skin, while Tree Hut offers stronger natural scents.
