Question 1

Is the installation tray truly foolproof, or is it easy to mess up?

Accepted Answer

The included UltraFit tray is the standout feature most users rave about. It's designed to guide the protector into perfect alignment automatically. As long as you follow the instructions—especially the critical step of thoroughly cleaning the screen with the provided wipes—a bubble-free, centered installation on the first try is the common result. Many TikTok and YouTube reviewers specifically highlight how it solved their lifelong struggle with screen protectors.

Question 2

Does this screen protector work flawlessly with the Apple Pencil 2?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. Preserving full Apple Pencil functionality is a key design priority for this protector. Users, including digital artists and note-takers, confirm there is no loss of sensitivity, tilt recognition, or palm rejection. You won't experience any annoying tapping sounds or lag, making it an ideal choice for anyone who uses their iPad for writing or drawing.

Question 3

Will it fit with my existing iPad case?

Accepted Answer

It is designed for a precise, edge-to-edge fit on the iPad's display. It works perfectly with most slim to medium-profile cases. However, if you use an extremely thick, rugged, or "bumper"-style case, there's a small chance the case's lip could lift the protector's edges. Checking your case's specifications for "screen protector compatibility" is always a good idea.

Question 4

What happens if the protector cracks on arrival or I install it incorrectly?

Accepted Answer

The 2-pack provides a great safety net! If a protector is damaged during shipping, ESR's customer service will typically assist with a replacement—though some Reddit users note the process can require patience. If you make an error during installation, the second protector gives you another chance. We recommend watching the official installation video before you start for the best results.

Question 5

How does this compare to the cheaper, no-brand screen protectors?

Accepted Answer

The difference lies in the precision and the extras. While a generic protector might offer basic scratch resistance, this kit includes the alignment tray for a perfect fit, a superior oleophobic coating that fights fingerprints, and guaranteed Apple Pencil support. The overwhelming sentiment from reviews is that the slightly higher price is worth it for the hassle-free installation and peace of mind regarding full functionality.
