Question 1

How can I be sure these filters will fit my specific Bissell Powerglide Lift-Off vacuum?

Accepted Answer

This 2-pack is designed to be compatible with a wide range of popular Powerglide Lift-Off models, including those using parts 160-1972, 160-1973, 160-1974, and others listed in the title. The best way to confirm is to check the part number on the filter currently in your vacuum. If it matches one of the numbers in our listing, it should be a direct fit. Many users on forums like Reddit recommend this cross-referencing method for peace of mind.

Question 2

Are these filters as durable and effective as the official Bissell brand filters?

Accepted Answer

While EZ SPARES filters are designed to match the performance of the original parts, some users note a difference in the feel of the material. They effectively restore suction and trap dust as intended. For the significant cost savings, most customers find the performance-to-value ratio excellent. If you require certified OEM parts, we recommend purchasing directly from Bissell.

Question 3

What should I do if the filters arrive damaged, or they don't fit my vacuum?

Accepted Answer

We stand by our products. If your filters arrive damaged in transit or do not fit your compatible model as described, please contact our customer service team immediately to initiate a hassle-free return or exchange. We recommend inspecting the package upon delivery, as some users have reported issues with postal handling.

Question 4

How often should I replace these filters, and is the 2-pack good value?

Accepted Answer

Replacement frequency depends on usage, but a good rule of thumb is every 3-6 months for normal household use, or when you notice a loss of suction. The 2-pack offers tremendous value, ensuring you have a fresh filter ready to go and saving on per-unit cost compared to buying singles. This is a major benefit praised by parents and pet owners who vacuum frequently.

Question 5

Who are these replacement filters best suited for?

Accepted Answer

These filters are ideal for the savvy shopper looking to maintain their Bissell vacuum's performance without the high cost of brand-name parts. They're perfect for homeowners, renters, and pet owners who need reliable, affordable maintenance. If you are highly particular about materials matching the OEM part exactly, you may prefer the original manufacturer's filters.
