Question 1

Are these #5 zipper pulls compatible with all standard zippers?

Accepted Answer

They’re designed for #5 zippers, which are common on medium-sized purses, backpacks, and luggage. However, as many TikTok users pointed out, they may not fit smaller or extra-thick zippers. We recommend checking your zipper slider width against the 1.2-inch length of these pulls before ordering.

Question 2

How durable is the rainbow coating—will it chip or fade?

Accepted Answer

The colorful finish is electroplated for a bright look, but it’s not scratch-proof. Some Reddit users noted that heavy daily use on keys or rough fabrics can cause wear. To extend the life, you can apply a clear topcoat. Most buyers find them perfectly fine for occasional use or decorative accents.

Question 3

Do these pulls include any tools or instructions for installation?

Accepted Answer

No tools are included, but installation is straightforward for most zippers. Slide the curved end of the pull into the zipper slider’s hole, then gently squeeze the ring closed with pliers. Watch quick YouTube tutorials if you’re new to zipper replacements—there’s a helpful video by “ZipperFix.”

Question 4

What’s the return or refund policy if they don’t fit?

Accepted Answer

We offer a 30-day return window for unused items in original packaging. If you have sizing doubts, message us before installing—we can help confirm compatibility. Many satisfied customers confirm we respond within 24 hours for refund requests.

Question 5

Are these better than plastic or generic metal pulls for luggage?

Accepted Answer

They’re a solid budget-friendly upgrade for style and grip, especially if you want a rainbow theme. For heavy-duty travel, several users recommend solid brass or YKK-brand pulls. These work best for lightweight bags, craft projects, or gifts where aesthetics matter more than extreme durability.
