Question 1

Does this rug stay in place on hardwood or tile floors?

Accepted Answer

It has a non-slip backing that helps it grip most surfaces, but many users — especially on TikTok and in early reviews — recommend adding a rug pad on smooth hard floors for the best results. Over carpet, it tends to stay put nicely on its own.

Question 2

Is it really machine washable, and will it hold up over time?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it's designed to be machine washable, and early reviewers describe washing as quick and easy. To protect the edges and print, use a gentle cycle with cold water and air dry when possible. As with any washable rug, a little care goes a long way toward long-term durability.

Question 3

How soft and thick is the rug? Will it feel plush?

Accepted Answer

It's soft to the touch thanks to the chenille construction, but it's a low-pile, lightweight rug — so it feels flat rather than thick and cushy. If you're after a plush, high-pile feel, this may not be the right fit; if you want something soft, easy to clean, and low-maintenance, it's a great match.

Question 4

Does the color match the photos, and is the 8x10 size accurate?

Accepted Answer

Most buyers say the Ashen Taupe color matches the listing well, though a few note it can read slightly more gray or beige depending on your lighting. The 8x10 size is true to measurement, but keep in mind that rugs can arrive with temporary creases from shipping — give it a few days to flatten out.

Question 5

Who is this rug best suited for, and what's the return policy like?

Accepted Answer

It's ideal for parents, pet owners, renters, and anyone wanting a stylish, washable, budget-friendly rug for a living room, bedroom, dining room, or home office. If you're unsure about the color or size, check the retailer's return window before buying — most shoppers find it easy to work with, but confirming the policy upfront avoids surprises.
