Question 1

How is the sizing? Should I order a larger size?

Accepted Answer

Sizing is the most common topic among new buyers. Based on thousands of reviews and social media discussions, we strongly recommend sizing up by 1 to 1.5 sizes from your usual US shoe size. Many TikTok users have shared that following the provided size chart led to shoes that were too small. If you're between sizes or have particularly wide feet, choosing the larger option is advisable.

Question 2

I've never worn barefoot shoes before. What should I expect?

Accepted Answer

Welcome! Barefoot shoes like these are designed to let your feet move naturally, which means they have a wide toe box, zero heel-to-toe drop, and minimal cushioning. The #1 piece of advice from our community is to start slowly. Wear them for an hour or two a day at first, as your feet and calf muscles will need time to adapt. This initial adjustment period is normal and leads to the exceptional comfort and "ground feel" that enthusiasts love.

Question 3

Are these suitable for running or hiking?

Accepted Answer

They are excellent for road running, gym workouts, and light trail walking due to their flexibility and grip on dry, natural surfaces. However, some dedicated runners on forums like Reddit note that the upper mesh may not withstand years of intense daily running. For technical, rocky hiking or frequent long-distance runs, a more rugged barefoot brand might be a better long-term investment. Think of these as fantastic all-arounders for versatile, moderate activity.

Question 4

How do I clean them, and how durable are they?

Accepted Answer

A major benefit praised by users is easy care: simply remove the insoles and toss the shoes in a cold, gentle machine wash, then air dry. For durability, the consensus from detailed reviews is that with proper care, they hold up very well for everyday and gym use. The sole is quite resilient. The mesh upper is breathable and durable for its weight, but like any lightweight fabric, it can be susceptible to snags on very rough terrain.

Question 5

Who are these shoes NOT for?

Accepted Answer

It's important to set the right expectations. These shoes are likely not for you if:
* You require significant arch support or have a medical condition that necessitates orthotics/stabilization.
* You primarily walk on wet, smooth surfaces like polished tile or decking, as the grip can be slippery.
* You expect a traditional, cushioned "sneaker" feel right out of the box without an adaptation period.
They are best for those seeking natural foot movement, toe freedom, and a lightweight, versatile shoe for a variety of low-to-moderate impact activities.
