Question 1

Are these curtains truly blackout, or do they let some light through?

Accepted Answer

Great question! While these are labeled as “thermal insulated blackout” curtains, many buyers note they reduce light significantly but don’t block 100% of it—especially around the rod pocket and edges. If total darkness is a must (like for a shift worker’s bedroom), you might want to pair them with a blackout liner. But for most living rooms and bedrooms, they do a solid job of dimming the room and keeping it cozy.

Question 2

Will the camel color look like the photos? I’ve seen some reviews saying it’s darker in person.

Accepted Answer

You’re right to ask—this is one of the most common observations. The camel shade tends to appear slightly deeper and more orange-toned in natural light compared to product images. If you’re matching existing decor, we recommend ordering a swatch first or checking real customer photos in reviews. That said, many users still love the warm, earthy look once they see it in person.

Question 3

How do I get the wrinkles out? I read they can look crumpled out of the package.

Accepted Answer

Yes, that’s a frequent mention from buyers. The curtains are shipped folded, so wrinkles are normal. A quick steam iron on low heat (avoiding the butterfly embellishments) or a gentle machine wash with cold water and a tumble dry on low should smooth them out beautifully. Some users even hang them damp and let gravity do the work.

Question 4

Will these fit a standard curtain rod? I’m worried about the rod pocket being too tight.

Accepted Answer

Fair concern! The rod pocket works well with most standard rods (up to about 1.5 inches in diameter). However, if you have a thicker decorative rod or a heavy wrought-iron style, the pocket can feel snug and harder to slide. For best results, measure your rod’s diameter before ordering. Many users with medium rods report no issues.

Question 5

Are the butterfly flowers durable? I’m worried they might fall off in the wash.

Accepted Answer

The embellishments are sewn on, and most buyers find them secure for regular use. For washing, we recommend turning the curtains inside out, using a gentle cycle with cold water, and air drying or using low heat. Hand washing is even better if you want to be extra careful. Some users have reported loose threads after several washes, so occasional spot-checking and gentle handling will help keep the flowers looking lovely longer.
