Question 1

Does this shirt run true to size, or should I order a size up?

Accepted Answer

Based on numerous customer reviews, the fit is athletic and many find it runs slightly small, particularly in the chest and shoulders. For a comfortable, non-restrictive fit suitable for movement, most users recommend sizing up. If you prefer a very tight, compression-like feel, your usual size may work.

Question 2

Is the material comfortable, or does it feel cheap and plasticky?

Accepted Answer

The shirt is made of 100% polyester jersey, a performance-focused fabric. It's lightweight, breathable, and exceptionally quick-drying—perfect for sweat-intensive workouts. While not as soft as cotton, it's designed for function, not lounging. Think of it as a technical sports layer; it's comfortable for its intended purpose but has a distinct athletic feel.

Question 3

How does it hold up after repeated washing and intense workouts?

Accepted Answer

Customers report excellent durability. The fabric resists pilling and maintains its shape well through many washes. For longevity, washing in cold water and avoiding high-heat drying is recommended. A small number of very active users note that, like most synthetics, it can retain odor if sweaty workouts are followed by delayed washing.

Question 4

Is this shirt suitable for activities like running and HIIT, or just for the gym?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! This is where the shirt receives the most praise. Its breathable and quick-drying properties make it ideal for high-intensity activities like running, HIIT, spin classes, and fitness training. The sports collar and athletic cut are designed specifically for this kind of movement, offering both performance and a sleek look.

Question 5

I'm looking for a super soft, casual everyday tee. Is this the right choice?

Accepted Answer

This might not be the best fit for that need. The hummel Core XK is engineered as a performance sports shirt. If your primary goal is a soft, cotton-like feel for casual wear, you might be happier with a blended or natural fabric tee. This shirt excels as affordable, durable technical wear for fitness.
