Question 1

I'm worried this shampoo will dry out my hair. What has been the user experience?

Accepted Answer

This is a common concern, and user experiences vary. Many with oily scalps find it cleansing without dryness. However, a notable number of reviewers, especially those with naturally dry or frizzy hair, mention it can be drying. Based on social feedback, we recommend following up with a good conditioner or hair oil. If your hair is prone to dryness, you might want to use it 2-3 times a week instead of daily.

Question 2

How long does it typically take to see a reduction in hair fall?

Accepted Answer

Patience is key with Ayurvedic formulations. While some users report less hair fall in the shower within 2-3 weeks, most consistent reviewers notice a significant difference after 4-6 weeks of regular use. It's designed to strengthen hair roots gradually, so we advise using at least one full bottle (180 ml) consistently before evaluating the results.

Question 3

Is Indulekha Bringha Shampoo safe for colored or chemically treated hair?

Accepted Answer

The shampoo is free from harsh sulfates (SLS) and parabens, which is gentler on the scalp and hair. However, because it contains strong Ayurvedic extracts that provide a deep cleanse, some users with colored or chemically treated hair have found it can be slightly drying or may affect color longevity. A patch test is always recommended.

Question 4

What is the fragrance like, and is it strong?

Accepted Answer

The shampoo has a distinct, authentic Ayurvedic herbal fragrance from ingredients like Bringharaj and Amla. The scent is noticeable and tends to linger. While many users love this natural, "clinic-like" aroma, a segment of reviewers on platforms like Reddit have mentioned they find it too potent or medicinal. If you are sensitive to strong herbal scents, this is a factor to consider.

Question 5

I see many positive reviews, but what are the main reasons people return or dislike this product?

Accepted Answer

The overwhelmingly positive feedback centers on effective hair fall control. The primary reasons for dissatisfaction, gathered from user reviews, are: 1) The shampoo not meeting expectations for hair softness, leading to a dry feel, 2) Not seeing desired results quickly enough, and 3) Disliking the consistency or herbal fragrance. It works best for those prioritizing root strength and hair fall reduction over instant silky smoothness.
