Question 1

How soon can I expect to see results with this serum?

Accepted Answer

Most users report noticing a reduction in itchiness within the first 1-2 weeks, with a significant decrease in visible flaking after 3-4 weeks of consistent use (typically 2-3 times per week). It's designed as a corrective treatment, so patience is key for the best, long-term results. A small number of reviewers on platforms like Reddit mentioned an initial adjustment phase, so consistent use for at least a month is recommended to properly assess its effectiveness.

Question 2

Will this serum make my hair look or feel greasy?

Accepted Answer

No, a major highlight in customer reviews is its lightweight, non-greasy formula. The serum is designed to be absorbed quickly by the scalp without leaving a sticky or oily residue. Many users with fine hair specifically praise this aspect, noting it doesn't weigh their hair down. If you have an exceptionally oily scalp, applying it at night and washing your hair the next morning is a popular tip shared by users.

Question 3

Is Indulekha Svetakutuja Serum safe for colored or chemically treated hair?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it is generally considered safe. As an Ayurvedic formulation free from sulfates, parabens, and harsh alcohols, it is gentle on the scalp and hair. However, as with any new product, we advise doing a patch test first. Some TikTok users with bleached hair have shared positive experiences, but checking with your stylist if you have recent complex treatments is always a good practice.

Question 4

Can I use this along with my regular anti-dandruff shampoo?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Many satisfied customers use it as a targeted treatment between washes. They apply the serum to a clean, dry or slightly damp scalp, leave it on, and then use their preferred shampoo at their next wash. It complements your existing routine rather than replacing it. For optimal results, ensure your shampoo is also gentle and free of overly stripping ingredients.

Question 5

What if it doesn't work for my dandruff?

Accepted Answer

While the majority of users see positive results, individual responses can vary based on scalp condition and consistency of use. Based on social listening, this serum works best for mild to moderate, recurring dandruff. If you have a severe, long-term scalp condition (like seborrheic dermatitis), it may not be strong enough as a standalone solution. We recommend giving it a full 4-6 week trial.
