Question 1

Will this lamp burn my skin if I use it too close?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it can. At 275W, the infrared heat is powerful—especially if you’re closer than 12 inches. Many users on TikTok and Reddit suggest starting at 18–24 inches away and gradually moving closer. The adjustable brightness helps: use the lower setting for facial or sensitive areas, and only the higher setting on larger muscle groups. Always test on a small spot first.

Question 2

The listing says “brightness adjustable”—can I dim it like a regular lamp?

Accepted Answer

Not exactly. The adjustment is more like preset power levels (low/medium/high) rather than a smooth dimmer. Some buyers were disappointed by this, expecting fine-grained control. It’s best for targeting different body areas but won’t mimic a sunset mood light. For true dimming, you’d need a lamp with a digital controller.

Question 3

Is this just a space heater in disguise, or does it actually provide therapeutic benefits?

Accepted Answer

Great question. This lamp produces far infrared heat, which penetrates deeper than the warmth from a standard space heater. Users with arthritis, muscle soreness, or chronic stiffness often report real relief after 10–15 minute sessions. That said, it’s not a medical device—more of a supportive tool. If you’re looking for clinical-grade red light therapy (e.g., for skin rejuvenation), you’d want a specific LED panel, not a heat-based lamp.

Question 4

How sturdy is the floor stand? Will it tip over on carpet?

Accepted Answer

The base is decent for a single-head lamp, but it’s not rock-solid. On thick carpet, the weight can shift when you rotate the head. A few Reddit users recommended placing it on a hard surface or using a small rug pad for stability. The 360° rotation is smooth, but you’ll want to tighten the lock screws occasionally to keep the head from drooping.

Question 5

What’s the return policy if the bulb breaks during shipping or after a month?

Accepted Answer

Most sellers offer a 30-day return window for defective items, including cracked bulbs from shipping. Pro tip: unbox and test the lamp immediately—some TikTok reviewers noted that the bulb can loosen in transit. After 30 days, the standard warranty usually covers manufacturer defects (check your listing), but bulbs are considered consumables. If you’re concerned about longevity, consider buying a spare bulb upfront.
