Question 1

How does the 'Intense' version differ from the original L'Eau D'Issey?

Accepted Answer

While both share the iconic fresh, aquatic DNA, Rose & Rose Intense is a warmer, rounder interpretation. The original is brighter with sharper green and floral notes. This version deepens the rose, adding a touch of fruity lychee and a smoother, slightly creamier dry-down. Think of it as the original's more romantic and slightly softer sister. Many reviewers find it more versatile for daily wear.

Question 2

Is this a strong, long-lasting perfume? I've seen mixed comments about performance.

Accepted Answer

It's important to set the right expectations. As a fresh floral, it's not designed to be an overpowering, 12-hour powerhouse. Most users report 4-6 hours of wear with moderate sillage (the scent trail), making it excellent for office or close-quarters settings. The "Intense" refers to the depth of the rose note, not necessarily extreme longevity. For best results, apply to pulse points and clothing.

Question 3

I love true rose scents. Is this a dominant, jammy rose fragrance?

Accepted Answer

If you're looking for a pure, deep soliflore rose like rose absolute or rose jam, this might not be your match. The rose here is dewy, watery, and blended with fresh lychee and clean musks. It's a modern, airy rose bouquet rather than a single, heavy rose. TikTok and Reddit fans often describe it as "rain on rose petals" – beautiful and realistic, but part of a fresh composition.

Question 4

Who is this fragrance best suited for?

Accepted Answer

This scent is a fantastic choice for someone seeking a sophisticated yet easy-to-wear floral that isn't cloying or overly sweet. It's perfect for daytime, office environments, and year-round wear (especially spring/summer). It appeals to both younger women discovering their signature scent and those who appreciate a timeless, elegant fragrance. It's less suited for those who exclusively love gourmands, heavy orientals, or very sweet perfumes.

Question 5

What is your return policy if the scent doesn't work with my skin chemistry?

Accepted Answer

We want you to love your purchase. We offer a hassle-free return policy within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging. Skin chemistry greatly affects how a fragrance develops, so we recommend testing it on your skin over a few hours. If it's not the perfect match, our customer service team is happy to help with a return or exchange.
