Question 1

Is this fabric breathable for all-day wear, like for running or cycling?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the lightweight and soft construction allows good airflow, making it comfortable for active use. However, some users on TikTok noted it can feel warm in direct summer sun if layered over non-breathable clothing. For best results, sew it onto well-ventilated garments rather than using it as a full lining.

Question 2

Will the rainbow colors fade after washing?

Accepted Answer

The colors are vivid initially, but a few DIYers on Reddit reported slight fading after machine washing on hot cycles. To keep the rainbow effect bright, hand wash in cold water and air dry. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners, which can dull the reflective coating over time.

Question 3

Is this suitable for beginners who just started sewing?

Accepted Answer

Most beginners find it manageable, though the fabric’s lightweight nature can make it slip under a standard presser foot. We recommend using a walking foot or placing tissue paper underneath while sewing—trick shared by several YouTube crafters. Practice on a scrap piece first to get the hang of it.

Question 4

How does it compare to standard 3M reflective tape?

Accepted Answer

This fabric is softer and much more flexible than typical reflective tapes, making it ideal for clothing that needs to move with you. That said, it’s not as abrasion-resistant as 3M Scotchlite—so it’s better for fashion, costumes, or light outdoor use rather than heavy-duty workwear or hiking gear.

Question 5

What’s the return policy if I buy the wrong size or color?

Accepted Answer

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery as long as the fabric is uncut and in original packaging. Just contact our support team for a prepaid return label. Many buyers recommend ordering a small test swatch first if you’re unsure, since the rainbow effect can look slightly different on-screen versus in natural light.
