Question 1

Will this Keepro station charge my iPhone 15 Pro Max through a thick case?

Accepted Answer

It works best with slim cases (under 3mm) or official Apple silicone cases. Thick, chunky, or metal-backed cases can block the magnetic connection. If your phone doesn’t snap into place and stay put, it likely won’t charge reliably. Many TikTok users recommend removing the case or using a MagSafe-compatible one—simple fix, but something to note before you buy.

Question 2

Does the Apple Watch charger work with the Apple Watch Ultra or older models like Series 3?

Accepted Answer

The watch charger is designed for Apple Watch Series 4 through 9, SE, and Ultra (with the flat back). Older Series 3 or custom bands with thick metal clasps may not sit flush, causing charging interruptions. For best results, place the watch face-down with the sensor aligned to the center of the pad. If you have an unusual band, you might want to check the fit first.

Question 3

I’ve heard some units stop working after a few months. How’s the build quality and warranty support?

Accepted Answer

Some reviews do mention the charging pads failing after 3–6 months, particularly the AirPods spot. That’s the biggest durability concern. Keepro does offer a 12-month warranty, and customer service generally responds within 48 hours. For extra peace of mind, we recommend testing all three charging spots right away—if any issue pops up, you’ll catch it early under warranty. If long-term reliability is a top priority, you might consider the Belkin BoostCharge Pro instead.

Question 4

Can I use my own USB-C charger and cable, or do I have to use the included adapter?

Accepted Answer

You can absolutely use your own, but there’s a catch: the station needs a 20W or higher USB-C power adapter to charge all three devices simultaneously. The included 20W adapter works fine, but if you use a lower-wattage brick, the watch or AirPods spot might charge very slowly (or not at all). Some buyers prefer their own braided cable for a sturdier feel—just make sure it supports Power Delivery (PD) for best results.

Question 5

Is this a better buy than Apple’s official MagSafe Duo charger?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your priorities. The Keepro is about $30 vs. Apple’s $129 Duo, so it’s a huge savings. It also charges three devices instead of two and has a built-in stand. However, the Apple Duo charges faster, runs cooler, and is built to last longer. If you’re after a budget-friendly, space-saving solution for overnight charging (and don’t mind slower watch charging or a slightly more delicate build), this is a solid pick. For daily heavy use or faster top-ups, the Apple or Anker options are worth the extra spend.
