Question 1

Is the 1.2L capacity sufficient for a family, or is it better for individuals?

Accepted Answer

Based on extensive user feedback, the KENT Kettle Multicooker is ideal for 1-2 people. It's perfect for boiling water for 2-3 cups of tea, steaming a batch of 4-5 idlis or momos, or boiling a few eggs. Many families of 3-4 find it useful for quick tasks but note it's not for cooking large family meals. If your primary need is for larger-scale steaming or boiling, you might want to consider a dedicated, larger appliance.

Question 2

How durable is it, and what about the warranty service I've seen mentioned online?

Accepted Answer

The product holds a strong 4.1-star rating from over 50,000 reviews, indicating reliable performance for the vast majority. The inner pot is made from joint-less stainless steel for longevity. As with any appliance, a small percentage of users report issues. KENT provides a standard manufacturer's warranty. We recommend registering your product promptly and keeping your invoice. Most concerns we've seen relate to communication delays, so being prepared with your documents ensures a smoother process should you ever need it.

Question 3

Can I really cook instant noodles inside it, or does it just boil water for them?

Accepted Answer

You can do both! This is a feature many TikTok and YouTube users love. You can simply boil water faster than a stove and pour it into your noodle cup. Alternatively, you can place the noodle block and seasonings directly into the stainless steel pot, add water, and use the boiling function to cook them directly inside—making cleanup in one container a breeze.

Question 4

Is the outer body truly "cool touch" during operation?

Accepted Answer

The outer body is designed to remain safer and cooler than the boiling interior, which it does effectively during quick tasks like boiling water. However, during extended steaming sessions (10-15 minutes or more), some heat transfer occurs, and the body can become warm to the touch, as noted in some detailed reviews. It's always advisable to handle any electrical appliance with care during and immediately after use.

Question 5

What's the main benefit over a regular electric kettle?

Accepted Answer

Versatility is the key advantage. While a standard kettle only boils water, this appliance adds steaming and direct cooking functions. You can go from boiling morning tea, to making perfect soft-boiled eggs, to steaming evening dim sum—all in one compact, easy-to-clean unit. It's a fantastic space-saver for dorms, offices, or small kitchens, eliminating the need for multiple pots and pans for small jobs.
