Question 1

Is this treadmill suitable for running, or is it just for walking?

Accepted Answer

The MERACH is primarily designed for walking and light jogging. While it can reach higher speeds, many users on social media note that the motor is best suited for walking and that sustained running can feel less stable. It's a fantastic compact walking pad, but if your main goal is intense running, a traditional, more powerful treadmill would be a better fit.

Question 2

How sturdy is it, and what's the real weight capacity?

Accepted Answer

The treadmill is praised for its stability during walking. The 2.5HP motor supports users well within its recommended capacity. However, some Reddit reviewers over 220 lbs have mentioned the deck can feel less firm during jogging. For optimal durability and performance, we recommend it most for walking for users up to 265 lbs and light jogging for users under 200 lbs.

Question 3

Can I really use it in an apartment without noise complaints?

Accepted Answer

Yes, its quiet operation is one of its most loved features! Numerous TikTok and YouTube reviewers highlight how quiet it is for walking, making it perfect for apartments, home offices, or late-night workouts. The noise level increases slightly with speed, but it's significantly quieter than most traditional treadmills.

Question 4

What's the deal with the app and smart features?

Accepted Answer

The MERACH app provides workout data tracking and programs. Honestly, user experiences vary. While some find it helpful, a common sentiment in reviews is that the app can be buggy and the Bluetooth connection unstable. Most satisfied users treat the manual remote control and simple LED display as the primary, reliable interface and see the app as a bonus when it works.

Question 5

Is it easy to move and store away?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. This is the #1 benefit highlighted across all platforms. Its compact, lightweight design and transport wheels make it incredibly easy to slide under a bed, into a closet, or into a corner. Assembly is also straightforward and tool-free, taking most people less than 15 minutes to set up and start walking.
