Question 1

I already see mice in my house. Will this device make them leave immediately?

Accepted Answer

Based on numerous customer experiences, this device is generally not effective for immediate removal of an existing, visible infestation. It's designed primarily as a long-term deterrent and preventative measure. For active mice, most social media reviewers and experts recommend using traps or contacting a professional first, then using the ultrasonic device to help prevent their return.

Question 2

How many devices do I need, and will the sound work through walls?

Accepted Answer

The ultrasonic waves have limited penetration through solid objects like walls, floors, and furniture. For best results, you typically need one device per enclosed room or space (e.g., one in the attic, one in the garage). An open floor plan may be covered by a single unit. Many TikTok and Reddit users suggest placing it in the specific area you want to protect, rather than relying on it to protect your entire home from one central location.

Question 3

Is this safe for my pets? I have a dog, a cat, and a pet hamster.

Accepted Answer

It is considered safe and non-toxic for most common pets like dogs and cats. However, sensitivity varies. Some dogs and cats (and many younger people) can hear the high-frequency sound and may find it irritating. Crucially, it is NOT recommended for households with pet rodents like hamsters, guinea pigs, or rabbits, as the frequencies are designed to distress them. Always monitor your pets' behavior when first installing the device.

Question 4

What's the realistic timeline to see results, and is there a guarantee?

Accepted Answer

Don't expect overnight miracles. Manufacturer instructions and successful users note it can take 2-4 weeks of continuous operation to see a reduction in activity as rodents are discouraged from entering or nesting in the protected area. It's a patience-required product. Be sure to check the seller's specific return policy, as experiences with guarantees vary. A common piece of advice from reviewers is to purchase from a retailer with a clear, hassle-free return window in case it doesn't work for your situation.

Question 5

Who is this product best suited for, and who might want to consider other options?

Accepted Answer

This device gets the best feedback from people using it proactively in spaces like garages, sheds, attics, or campers to *prevent* pests from moving in. It's also a good fit for those seeking a non-toxic, non-lethal first step. It's often not the right solution for someone with a significant, active infestation needing immediate control, or for someone expecting one plug-in device to solve a pest problem throughout a large, multi-room home with existing entry points.
