Question 1

Does the Moso Natural Air Purifying Bag actually remove odors, or does it just mask them?

Accepted Answer

Customer reviews report that it neutralized strong odors, including curry smells and a musty car odor that cleaning could not remove, without masking them with artificial fragrance. One reviewer said it does not immediately zap smells out of the air but does not take long to work.

Question 2

How long does the bag last, and does it need to be replaced?

Accepted Answer

The manufacturer states it is reusable for 2 years and recharges in sunlight by being set outside once a month for an hour. One customer review, however, said it did not seem to last very long.

Question 3

Is it safe to use around pets and family, and does it contain chemicals or fragrance?

Accepted Answer

The listing describes it as a non toxic alternative to air fresheners, made exclusively from Moso bamboo, pet friendly and safe to use around the entire family. A reviewer also noted there are no sprays and no chemicals.

Question 4

What size spaces is it suitable for, and can it be hung or placed?

Accepted Answer

The listing says it is ideal for closets, cars, bathrooms, cat litter areas, and cabinets, and works in spaces up to 90 square feet, with a reinforced grommet for hanging or placing. A reviewer described it as light and inconspicuous next to a diaper pail.

Question 5

Does it help with dampness and musty smells in closets or cars?

Accepted Answer

The listing states that in damp closets, cars, and bathrooms the activated charcoal absorbs excess humidity and the musty smells that come with it, with no messy gels, sprays, or powders. A reviewer reported a musty mold smell in a vehicle disappeared overnight after using the bag.
