Question 1

Is the "Single Stud Design" safe, or do I actually need to hit two studs?

Accepted Answer

For safety and stability, especially for TVs over 40 inches or near the weight limit, mounting into two wall studs is strongly recommended and often required. The "Single Stud Design" refers to the bracket's ability to be secured to a single stud *in conjunction with* high-quality toggle bolts for the other side, but this is only suitable for lighter setups. Most users in reviews and DIY forums advise using two studs for peace of mind.

Question 2

How difficult is installation really? Can I do it alone?

Accepted Answer

While the process is straightforward for someone with basic DIY skills, we highly recommend a two-person installation. The mount itself is easy to attach to the wall and TV. However, as many Reddit users have shared, lifting and securing the TV onto the wall bracket is the tricky part. Having a helper makes it safer, easier, and helps prevent damage to your TV or wall.

Question 3

My TV is 55" and has the correct VESA pattern, but I'm worried about weight and wobble. Is this mount sturdy enough?

Accepted Answer

Yes, sturdiness is one of its most praised features. The articulating arms are made of robust steel. Once properly installed into studs, users consistently report no sagging or noticeable wobble, even when fully extended. The locking mechanisms for tilt and swivel are designed to hold the TV firmly in place. Just ensure your TV's weight (under 77 lbs) and VESA pattern (up to 400x400mm) are within the specified limits.

Question 4

The instructions seem confusing. Is there better guidance available?

Accepted Answer

We understand the included instructions can be challenging. Many TikTok and YouTube users have created excellent step-by-step video tutorials for this specific model (search "MOUNTUP MU0009 install"). We recommend watching one of these visual guides before you begin. They often provide helpful tips on managing cables and adjusting the tension that aren't fully detailed in the manual.

Question 5

What's your return policy if it doesn't fit my TV or I change my mind after purchase?

Accepted Answer

We offer a standard return window for unused and unopened items. However, because installation requires drilling into your wall, we strongly encourage you to double-check your TV's VESA pattern and weight, and review the product dimensions before purchasing. If you encounter any defects or missing parts, our customer support team is here to help resolve the issue promptly.
