Question 1

Will these sliders work on my thick, plush carpet or uneven flooring?

Accepted Answer

They perform excellently on standard low-to-medium pile carpet and smooth hard surfaces like hardwood, laminate, and tile. However, based on user feedback, they can struggle on very thick shag carpet or uneven outdoor concrete, where they may sink or catch. For those specific surfaces, a slider with a larger, solid base might be more effective.

Question 2

How durable are they, and what's the real weight limit?

Accepted Answer

The kit is designed for typical household moving and rearranging. While most users find them reusable and robust for items like sofas, beds, and bookshelves, a small number report the plastic cracking under extreme weight or the pads detaching. There's no single stated weight limit, as it depends on distribution. For routinely moving items over 400lbs, a dedicated furniture dolly from a hardware store is often recommended by experienced users.

Question 3

Is the included lifter tool actually useful for heavy furniture?

Accepted Answer

The lifter is best for providing the initial tilt to slide the pads underneath lighter to medium-weight furniture. Many social media reviewers find it handy for this purpose. However, for very heavy appliances like refrigerators, users commonly suggest using a sturdy pry bar or simply tilting the item with your foot, as the plastic lifter may not provide enough leverage.

Question 4

What if I receive a damaged product or my kit is missing pieces?

Accepted Answer

We're committed to you getting a complete, functional set. While rare, if you receive a damaged item or are missing sliders or floor socks, please contact our customer support directly through your order platform. We'll promptly send out replacements to make it right.

Question 5

Who would benefit most from this 3-in-1 slider kit?

Accepted Answer

This kit is a fantastic value for solo movers, renters, seniors, and anyone who likes to frequently rearrange their space without scratching floors or asking for help. It's perfect for moving couches, dressers, tables, and appliances during cleaning or redecorating. If you're a professional mover needing equipment for daily heavy jobs, you might want more industrial-grade options.
