Question 1

Is this true, pure lavender oil and is it strong enough for aromatherapy?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Nikura Lavender Oil is 100% pure, natural *Lavandula angustifolia* (true lavender) steam-distilled from flowers. It's renowned for its authentic, calming scent. While most reviews praise its perfect strength for creating a relaxing atmosphere, a small number of users on platforms like Reddit have mentioned preferring a more intense aroma. For a robust scent, we recommend using a few extra drops in your diffuser.

Question 2

Can I apply this oil directly to my skin or use it in the bath?

Accepted Answer

While it is a pure, natural oil, we always recommend doing a patch test first if you have sensitive skin. For direct skin application (e.g., on temples or the soles of feet), it should be diluted with a carrier oil. For baths, mix it with a dispersant like full-fat milk or a tablespoon of carrier oil before adding to the water to ensure it blends properly and doesn't irritate the skin.

Question 3

How long will a 10ml bottle last, and is it good value?

Accepted Answer

A 10ml bottle is a great starting size. In an ultrasonic diffuser running intermittently (30 mins on/off), it can last several weeks. Many TikTok users show it's perfect for making linen sprays or rollerballs, which extends its use. The value comes from its verified purity, UK origin, and versatile quality—it's a favourite for those who prioritise trustworthy sourcing over buying the largest, cheapest bottle.

Question 4

Is this lavender oil safe to use around pets?

Accepted Answer

Essential oils require caution around pets. While diffusing lavender in a well-ventilated area for short periods is generally considered safe by many pet owners, we advise you to consult your veterinarian first, especially for cats, birds, or small animals who can be more sensitive. Never apply the oil directly to your pet's fur or skin.

Question 5

My bottle arrived leaking. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

We're sorry to hear that. While our packaging is designed to be secure, occasional transit damage can occur. Please contact our customer service team immediately with your order number and a photo. We'll happily send a replacement. As noted in some reviews, ensuring the cap is tightly sealed after each use will prevent any issues during storage.
