Question 1

Is the 35oz capacity enough for a family, or will I be making milk constantly?

Accepted Answer

This is a common point from user reviews. The 35oz (about 1 liter) capacity is perfect for individuals, couples, or small families who use about a liter every 1-2 days. However, several users in larger households (4+ people) noted they make a batch daily. If your family goes through more than a liter a day, you might find the capacity limiting for meal prep.

Question 2

How "automatic" and easy to clean is it really?

Accepted Answer

The AlfaBot automates the blending and cooking process, and the Self-Clean cycle rinses the interior and blade. Many TikTok and YouTube creators show this feature saving them time. However, for nut milks like almond, you'll still need to strain the pulp through the included filter (or a nut milk bag for ultra-smooth milk) and give the jug a quick wipe. It's significantly easier than using a standalone blender but isn't 100% hands-off.

Question 3

I've seen comments about leaks or error codes. Is this a common issue?

Accepted Answer

While the vast majority of users report trouble-free operation, a small number have mentioned occasional "Err" messages or minor leaks. These are often resolved by ensuring the jug is correctly seated and the lid is securely locked. The machine has safety sensors that can trigger if components aren't fully aligned. The build quality is generally praised, but as with any appliance, proper handling is key.

Question 4

Can I make yogurt and oat milk effectively, or is it best for just nut milk?

Accepted Answer

Yes, its versatility is a major highlight! The dedicated modes are designed for different tasks: the "Soy" mode cooks legumes thoroughly, "Nut" mode is for almonds/cashews, "Oat" mode uses a lower temperature to prevent sliminess, and "Yogurt" mode maintains a precise warm temperature for culturing. Many users successfully make all of the above, enjoying custom-sweetened oat milk and homemade yogurt.

Question 5

How does it save money, and how long until it pays for itself?

Accepted Answer

Compared to store-bought plant-based milk, making your own can cut costs by 50% or more, especially if you buy nuts in bulk. For example, a user on Reddit calculated that their homemade almond milk costs about half the price per liter. If your household drinks several liters a week, the machine can pay for itself in a few months. You're also paying for the benefit of no additives, preservatives, or unwanted sugars.
