Question 1

Are these towels truly biodegradable and can I compost them at home?

Accepted Answer

They are designed to be biodegradable in commercial composting facilities, which provide specific conditions for breakdown. However, based on user feedback, they do not decompose reliably in typical home compost piles. If home composting is your primary goal, reusable cotton cloths might be a more effective eco-friendly choice.

Question 2

How big are they really, and are they good for larger faces?

Accepted Answer

The towels measure 10" x 12". While many users find them perfectly sized for drying their face, some with larger facial features or those expecting a washcloth-sized towel have noted they can feel slightly small. A common tip from reviewers is to use two if you prefer more coverage, especially for removing a full face of makeup.

Question 3

I have very sensitive skin. How soft and lint-free are they?

Accepted Answer

This is the most praised feature! Nearly all reviews highlight their exceptional softness and gentleness, making them a favorite for sensitive, rosacea-prone, or post-procedure skin. While they are marketed as lint-free, a small number of users have noted minimal fibers when used on perfectly smooth surfaces like glasses. For facial skincare, however, they are consistently reported as non-irritating and effective.

Question 4

What are the main uses, and will they hold up for removing makeup?

Accepted Answer

Their primary uses are for gentle face-drying, applying toners, and light makeup removal. They are highly absorbent and durable for these tasks. For heavy, waterproof makeup, some TikTok users suggest using an oil-based remover first, as scrubbing aggressively can cause them to break down. They are also popular for quick clean-ups, wiping counters, and as a hygienic option for travel or the gym.

Question 5

Who would benefit most from these towels, and who might not?

Accepted Answer

They are ideal for skincare-focused individuals seeking a soft, hygienic, single-use option to replace regular towels—especially those with sensitive skin, acne, or who travel frequently. Parents also love them for gentle baby care. They might not be the best fit for someone seeking a heavy-duty reusable cleaning cloth, a guaranteed home-compostable product, or the absolute lowest-cost-per-use disposable option.
