Question 1

Do these cushions actually resist fading in direct sunlight, or will they change color?

Accepted Answer

Great question. Most customers find the olive green holds up well under normal use, especially in partially shaded or covered patios. However, we’ve seen some feedback—including from TikTok reviewers—that in direct, all-day sun over several weeks, minor color shifts can occur. To maximize longevity, we recommend storing cushions indoors when not in use, or using them in areas with some shade.

Question 2

My chair seats are 18.5 inches wide, but the cushion listing says 18.5x16. Will they fit snugly?

Accepted Answer

The cushions measure exactly 18.5 inches wide and 16 inches deep, so they’re designed for chairs with matching dimensions. That said, several buyers mentioned that if your chair is any larger (especially in depth), the cushion may feel tight or leave gaps. We suggest measuring your seat surface *before* ordering—if your chair is 19 inches deep, these will overhang slightly. For precise fit, stick to the listed measurements.

Question 3

How thick are these cushions, and will they flatten quickly with daily use?

Accepted Answer

They’re about 4 inches thick when new. Most users find the comfort level fine for occasional seating (like weekend barbecues or lounging), but some Reddit threads note that regular daily use can cause the padding to compress over a few months. If you plan on heavy, everyday sitting, you might want a thicker option. For the price point with six cushions, they offer decent value for moderate use.

Question 4

The ties and non-slip bottom—do they actually keep the cushion in place?

Accepted Answer

The ties work best on chairs with a gap between the seat and backrest, or on slatted furniture. For smooth or plastic chairs, we’ve seen mixed feedback: some users love the non-slip backing, while others say it slides around in humidity. A quick fix mentioned by TikTok and YouTube users is adding a separate non-slip mat or using velcro strips. The ties themselves are functional but not heavy-duty—gentle handling helps them last longer.

Question 5

Can I machine wash the covers without ruining the water resistance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the covers are removable and machine-washable on a gentle cycle with cold water. The water-resistant coating is durable through multiple washes, but we advise against using bleach or fabric softener, which can degrade it. Air drying is best—high heat from the dryer can affect the coating. If you wash them regularly, many buyers report the water resistance remains effective for at least a season.
