Question 1

Are these magnetic tiles compatible with other major brands like Magna-Tiles?

Accepted Answer

Yes, PicassoTiles 100-piece set uses the same standard square and triangle sizes as Magna-Tiles and most other leading brands. Many parents on Reddit confirm they mix sets without issue. Just note that magnet strength may vary slightly between brands, so tall builds might feel less stable when combining weaker and stronger magnets.

Question 2

Do the tiles arrive scratched, or will they get scratched quickly?

Accepted Answer

Some buyers on TikTok have noticed fine surface scratches right out of the box or after a few play sessions. The clear plastic is durable but does show marks over time. If your child is very sensitive to imperfections, consider that these are designed for hands-on play, not display. For typical use, scratches don’t affect the magnetic function or building ability.

Question 3

Is this set safe for toddlers under 3 years old?

Accepted Answer

The magnets are securely encased in hard plastic, making them difficult to open. However, the small pieces (like 1-inch squares) pose a choking hazard, so manufacturer recommendations generally apply for ages 3 and up. Several parenting forums suggest supervising younger toddlers and sticking to larger piece options until they’re past the mouthing stage.

Question 4

How many actual building pieces are in the 100-piece set?

Accepted Answer

The 100-piece count includes all tiles, connectors, and small squares. For example, you get roughly 48 standard squares, 28 triangles, plus windows, wheels, and connector clips. Some users on Amazon note that the smaller parts feel like “filler,” but most families find the variety useful for creative builds like cars or houses. If you want mostly large tiles, consider the 60-piece or 80-piece sets instead.

Question 5

What’s the return policy if pieces are missing or magnets are weak?

Accepted Answer

PicassoTiles offers a standard 30-day return window through Amazon or their website, with replacements for defective magnets. On social media, customers report that customer service responds within a few days and often ships replacement tiles for magnet issues. Always note that returns without defects may incur shipping costs, so double-check your set upon arrival.
