Question 1

Is the backpack actually water resistant?

Accepted Answer

Reviews are mixed on this: one reviewer says it is water resistant and perfect for hikes, while another warns it is not water resistant and advises putting your stuff in carrier or bin bags to keep it dry. The manufacturer's listing describes it as water resistant.

Question 2

How much can this backpack hold?

Accepted Answer

Reviewers consistently describe it as very spacious, with one listing a full load including a 2-man tent, sleeping bag, inflatable mattress, cooking set, first aid kit, 2L water bladder and more, with space left for 2 to 4 days of food and clothes. The listing states a 40L storage volume with 5 compartments and 7 pockets.

Question 3

Is it comfortable to carry heavy loads?

Accepted Answer

One reviewer reports the bag weighs just under a kilo empty but comfortably carries 20kg, and another says it is comfortable to use. The listing states the ventilated back panel and contoured shoulder straps redistribute 15kg loads, with a chest strap to reduce stress.

Question 4

How durable is the backpack?

Accepted Answer

One reviewer says the durability is good, though partly thanks to the outer straps rather than by direct design, and another says the stitching is well made but that only time will tell on longevity. Other reviewers describe it as sturdy and robust.

Question 5

Does it have a hydration bladder included?

Accepted Answer

No. The listing states the hydration reservoir is not included, though the pack has internal hooks to anchor one and tubing routed through side ports. One reviewer confirms fitting a 2L water bladder, and another notes the water pocket is not supplied with the bag.
