Question 1

I've heard the armrests can get wobbly. Is this a common issue and is it fixable?

Accepted Answer

Some users, particularly after several months of heavy use, have reported the 3D armrests developing a slight wobble. The good news is this is often due to the adjustment screws loosening over time. A quick tighten with the included Allen key usually restores stability. The chair's 4.2-star rating from over 1,200 reviews suggests that for most owners, this is a minor maintenance item rather than a deal-breaking flaw.

Question 2

How firm is the seat and lumbar support? I'm worried it might be too hard.

Accepted Answer

The Doro C300 is designed with firm, supportive ergonomics in mind—it's not a soft, plush chair. Many reviewers note a 1-2 week "break-in" period where your body adjusts to the active support. The dynamic lumbar pad is especially praised for maintaining proper posture. If you prefer a softer "sink-in" feel, this might not be the ideal model for you.

Question 3

I'm 6'3" / 5'2". Will this chair fit me properly?

Accepted Answer

The chair is excellent for users between approximately 5'6" and 6'0". If you're outside this range, consider this: For taller users (6'2"+): The headrest and lumbar support may sit slightly lower than optimal, though the seat depth and sturdy build are still great. For petite users (5'4" and under): The fixed lumbar pad may contact your upper back instead of your lower back. Some shorter users on social media have removed the lumbar pad entirely, which is an option, though it changes the ergonomic benefit.

Question 4

How does assembly work, and what if I have issues or missing parts?

Accepted Answer

Most customers assemble the chair in 20-30 minutes using the clear instructions and provided tools. A small number of online reviews mention parts needing slight alignment during assembly. All components are checked before shipping, but if you encounter an issue or a missing part, SIHOO's customer support is responsive and will ship replacements promptly. The chair ships in a single box via standard freight carriers and requires assembly.

Question 5

Is this chair truly good value compared to brands like Herman Miller or Secretlab?

Accepted Answer

The consensus from detailed reviews and YouTube comparisons is a resounding "yes" for value. You get core ergonomic features—dynamic lumbar support, multi-tilt mechanisms, and a robust build—at a fraction of the cost of premium brands. Think of it as a "budget premium" chair. It may not have the same decade-long warranty or ultra-refined finishes, but for under $300, it delivers exceptional performance that satisfies the vast majority of home office users and gamers.
