Question 1

Are the magnets strong enough to keep the tray securely closed in a bag?

Accepted Answer

For most users, yes! The strong magnetic closure is one of the most praised features. However, a small number of reviews mention receiving trays with weaker or misaligned magnets. The general consensus on social media is that when functioning correctly, the magnets provide a satisfying "click" and secure closure for transport. If yours doesn't, the seller's return policy applies.

Question 2

How big is the rolling area inside? I'm worried it might be too small for my metal dice.

Accepted Answer

This is a common pre-purchase question. The interior rolling space is approximately 5.5 x 4 inches. It comfortably fits a standard set of 7 RPG dice with room to roll. For larger, heavier metal dice, it will contain them, but the rolling area is more limited. Many TikTok users suggest if you primarily use jumbo metal dice or need to roll a dozen dice at once, you might want to look for a larger, rigid tray.

Question 3

Does the PU leather have a strong chemical smell when it arrives?

Accepted Answer

Some buyers have reported a noticeable "new product" smell upon unboxing, which is common with synthetic leather items. The smell is not permanent and airs out completely after a few days in a well-ventilated space. Placing it near an open window or with a baking soda pouch speeds up the process.

Question 4

What's the durability like for regular weekly game nights?

Accepted Answer

Based on customer reviews, these trays hold up well for casual to regular use. The stitching and material are designed for portability and convenience rather than heavy-duty, lifelong use. A few Reddit users noted that after several months of very frequent use, the stitching at the stress points (corners) can begin to wear. For weekly D&D sessions, most users find them to be excellent, long-lasting value.

Question 5

Who would you say this product is NOT a good fit for?

Accepted Answer

This tray is perfect for mobile gamers and as a first dice tray. It might not be the best fit if: you want a large, permanent centerpiece for your gaming table; you primarily roll a massive handful of dice at once; or you are looking for a premium, luxury material like solid wood or thick felt. In those cases, a larger, rigid tray would be a better investment.
