Question 1

Should I order my exact shoe size, or do they run large?

Accepted Answer

Based on numerous customer reviews, we recommend ordering your *exact* shoe size. The insoles are intentionally designed slightly larger to ensure full coverage and can be easily trimmed down for a perfect fit in your specific footwear. A helpful tip from many users is to trace your current insole as a guide before cutting.

Question 2

I've heard they can be uncomfortable at first. Is this normal, and how long does it take to break them in?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a short break-in period is completely normal. Because these insoles provide serious arch support your feet may not be used to, some initial pressure or discomfort is common. Most users adapt within 3-7 days of consistent wear. Start by wearing them for a few hours daily and gradually increase. This process allows the insole to mold to your foot and your body to adjust to the proper support.

Question 3

Are these suitable for my specific shoes, like running sneakers or work boots?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! The SOLE Active Thick Insoles are versatile and designed for closed-toe shoes with a removable factory insole. They are a top choice for running shoes, hiking boots, and occupational footwear like construction or nurse's shoes. For very sleek dress shoes, you may want to consider a thinner model, as these provide substantial support.

Question 4

How durable are they, and does the fabric top layer hold up?

Accepted Answer

The molded arch support is highly durable and designed not to break down, which is why many users report relief lasting for months. The top fabric layer is comfortable and wicks moisture, but like any insole, it will experience wear. For maximum longevity, especially with daily use, some Reddit users suggest rotating between two pairs if possible.

Question 5

What's your return policy if they don't help my plantar fasciitis?

Accepted Answer

We stand by our products and offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your insoles, you can return them within the specified return window, even if you've worn them. We understand it takes a few days to know if an orthotic will work for you. Please check our official return policy page for the most current details and instructions.
